Situated next door to the renowned Toward Lighthouse, built in 1812 by Robert Louis Stevenson`s grandfather, the cottage is cosy and comfortable with amazing views.

Right on the point, with a two minute walk to the shingle beach where you can explore the rock pools, watch the many boats sail by, listening for the paddles of the Waverley or spot the seals sunbathing (weather permitting) on the rocks.
Alternatively, just relax in the large garden enjoying (hopefully) the sunshine.

Taynuilt Cottage is an individually charming 19th century coastal property - the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the stunning scenery, watch the boasts sail by and listen to nothing but the birds and the seals singing on the rocks.
The perfect base to enjoy exploring the surrounding area with many beautiful walks on your doorstep.
Please note :
the bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are quite steep.
No wifi at present but guests just use their "hot spots" which works absolutely fine

The Cowal Peninsula is a beautiful area with stunning scenery. Taynuilt Cottage sits on Toward Point with views to Arran and Isle of Bute and is a great centre to explore Cowal and the surrounding areas.
